Baby Houdini

Katie refuses to wear mittens - she gets really unimpressed when they're put on and waves her hands around until they're taken off. I carefully bundle her little hands into her pram quilt, tucking her in carefully. Within minutes, she's worked them out of there.

This morning, we went to rescue the car. Her brother enjoyed getting bundled up and having a snowball fight on the way, stomping in the big fresh piles of snow, and helping dig the car out when we got to it. We all enjoyed the hot chocolates with marshmallows when we got back!

Katie is now sleeping in her nursery - the noise of family life was disrupting her sleep too much in with us. But because she still wakes quite a bit in the night, and because Mummy isn't ready to not sleep beside her, Mummy sleeps in the nursery too. Katie sleeps in her moses basket. Sometimes. When she's not sleeping in with Mummy.
