Milestone

On the way back from nursery/school I walked past this milestone. I don't know if I had noticed it often before but in our modern days these are just remainders of what used to be but they do not serve us any real purpose anymore. Not with our more modern signs and means of transport.

Anyhow, I used it to go the mile to Tollcross and back again for my Pilates class and it was probably still very accurate. (I don't 'do' miles, I grew up with km and miles don't mean much to me).

Today was also an altogether different milestone and I hope I made the right decision. I think I have.
