back blipped... technically speaking... I should be in bed...

We had a wallpaper stripping party tonight. Our church small group came round and stripped a load of wallpaper off the hall, stairs and landing - it we'd done it ourselves it would have taken a month of sundays. A long long time. So we are hugely grateful for the help!!

We found this written - scrawled - above the doorway into the master bedroom. We'd guessed at the age of the house before, for insurance purposes, we'd guessed at 1890's or thereabouts. But this was scrawled in 1887! That's how old the house is. A bit older maybe. I wonder if this was a plasterer, a decorator, one of the builders? I love finding things like this. Just glad it wasn't a profanity!

PS I backblipped for Tuesday as well!

Got the sash window people coming tomorrow to fix the problems with the windows, so as long as we're up and dressed by 9 I don't mind... Ben and I are going to do some random painting of bits of cardboard tomorrow, we're not planning on going anywhere much. Even though we'll have the car!
