Blur!

Well, my intentions of getting a spectacular Diwali blip have been as successful as my intentions to go walking before work this week. However, as blurred as it may be, I quite like it.

Had a lovely evening, watching the non-stop fireworks along the length of Marine Drive from the other side of the water. Far enough away to be able to hold a conversation with the girls, sipping fizz and eating a Chinese meal on a spacious balcony! Ace!

Came back just now by taxi and it is bonkers! It's gone midnight and the place is rocking! There are people EVERYWHERE! Traffic is at a standstill all along the promenade. People are letting off firecrackers and lighting horizontal catherine wheels, which skirt across the pavements, completely not in accordance with the Fireworks Code that we're used to in the UK. The smell is awesome! It's going to be a long, noisy night! Happy Diwali!
