A calm five minutes

50 weeks + 5

5 minutes is an exaggeration. Two perhaps. Katie doesn't do sitting still. She is constantly wriggling, climbing, rolling, dancing, no matter what. Today has been no exception. Even here, when she was sat down, she was fiddling with her socks, climbing in and out the chair, you name it!

She slept through last night but then was up at 5.30, can't complain really though! She had a long nap in the morning which was good timing as it meant so was (extremely) full of bounce for swimming, she was walking up and down the poolside whilst we were waiting, over and over. She was desperate to go in the big pool. During swimming, her and ava were showing the way to the new babies, hurling themselves in for their baby dives, coming up grinning from under the water. Katie was really off with her swimdiscs today and looked super proud of herself.

We had coffee with a friend after swimming and then one of the cousins came to play at our house as littlest cousin had been taken off to hospital having broken her hand. All in all, a very lovely day, broken bones aside.
