Winter hats in the sun

In Pézenas market this morning the stalls were full of winter woollies and hats, the sun was bright but the air was cold. We were there mainly for our son to buy jambon from Lacaune to take back to London with him.

Feeling a bit sad now, having taken him to the airport this afternoon after a wonderful few days, but consoling myself with the thought that our daughter will be here in three weeks' time and they'll both be here for Christmas. Anyway, I have a busy weekend ahead with the olives to cure and the quinces to make into membrillo.
