NZ SHELDUCK-(LINGS)

For the purists amongst us - these are ( Tadorna Variegata ) and I've come to the conclusion that if anyone calls them Paradise Ducks they are not far from being correct as they are refered to as Paradise Shelducks - or more correctly
NZ Shelducks.

Anyway - whatever they are called (and I'm not too worried about it )
they're a mighty fine looking duck and babies are cute as a button.
I've been watching these jokers for the last couple of seasons - they are in a little stream beside the Lyttelton tunnel motorway. ( stay off the Road littl'ns.)
