Day 1 - Padstow

Drove down to Cornwall on an overcast day. A few weeks ago Scarlett and Flick drove down via Birmingham for some reason, and it took them over 6 hours. I was cleverer than that. I drove via Oxford. However, the M4 was bloody shut and had to take a diversion. It took 7 hours.

No it didn't! it took 5 hours, and we arrived at a nice country hotel on Bodmin moor in daylight, the journey being helped along by the Foo Fighters at full volume.

we booked a meal in the hotel, and buggered off to explore for two hours beforehand. We ended up in Padstow. There were no people, so were able to park by the harbour. Took some night shots then back to the hotel for a beautiful meal and a bottle of wine. This is the life!
