The Great Pumpkin Carve

While the boys were bonding over night at their Boy Scout camping trip, Alyssa and I had a Ladies Day Out. This entailed shopping at favorite thrift stores (love to find those hidden treasures), going out for dinner, and visiting this evening event where over 100 massive pumpkins were carved by serious artists, judged, and then put out on display. Alyssa was so excited, she asked to be the photographer for the night (usually my coveted title). She did a great job, too!
