staring contest

analysis:
in addition to advertising in local newspapers, this plastic surgery centre also bought advertising space at skytrain stations. while i was waiting for the skytrain, i peered up and saw this billboard staring back at me from across the tracks. it had more impact than the other ads beside it, and yes, it definitely made me look. what pushes the eye gaze further in this example is that lady's eyes are lined up along the top third of the ad.
