50s Throwback

Tonight was the CASBAA charity ball. Theme: famous icons. I had no time to get a costume (which in HK you can do all year - costume shops are open 365 days a year because of the constant theme parties. Hongkies LOVE their theme parties. Case and point, even a ball had a theme!) so a friend loaned me a vintage dress and we tried to pull something together at the last minute (Googling actresses that might work). I pulled this hat out of my many to make the outfit work and said I was Ava Gardner (though perhaps the dress was a bit casual for her). My camera died 2 photos into the event (I hate when I do that!). Quite disappointing as there were some fantastic costumes...
