How Many Katie's?

12 months + 19 days

The answer (I think) is 3 and a bit!

Katie slept relatively well compared to a few previous nights, I'm only letting her feed once in a night to make sure she's hungry for 'real' food. So after waking and having one feed at 1.30, she took a while to agree to go back to sleep, but then slept through until 6.30 - a lie in, and a pretty good night!

We spent a while playing chase back and forwards across the hall and lounge, she thinks this is hilarious. She also spent ages playing with Mummy's hat Photographically, the hat shot is a 'better' photo, but I like the one I've used as it captures a different part of our day, rather than 'at home' shots.

Today Katie graduated into the 'toddler' SureStart groups, it was her first session at the now-officially open new children's centre. As a 'Walking upwards' group, she's well and truly eligible (although they have also invited her to the baby group after Christmas!) She had a great time, although they had to adapt the water tray play area as she was too short, so it got lifted out of the frame and onto the floor specially so little dinky Katie could play too! The blip shot is taken inside a 'den' made of three mirrors that join in a standing triangle with a gorgeous voile drape over it. She loved it and sat playing in there for ages.

We had a walk out after she had a mega nap (2 1/2 hours!) She had her first time puddle-jumping, as well as her first time sitting in a puddle... so also her first time soaking her snowsuit in mud. She thought it was really funny (and it didnt go right through, i lifted her up before that!)


thank you everyone for helping yesterday's blip hit the spotlight, it's only the third time one of my blips has done that, i still get very excited!
