Another suitcase in another Hall.........

The Son and Heir and young Helen got back from Hong Kong tonight. They've been for a two week visit with Helen's dad.

They left HK at 13,20 local time and reached Franfurt 12 hours and 40 minutes later at 19.00 local time. They flew out of Germany at 21.35 local time and after a 1hour 40 minute flight landed in Manchester at 22.15 GMT.

They looked like crap when they came through arrivals and were so tired they wouldn't even stand still for 30 seconds for a photograph. Still after 6202 miles and crossing 8 time zones and travelling for over 18 hours what do you expect, their bodies were telling them it was 9 o'clock tomorrow morning.

We dropped them at their house which was freezing cold, with some bread, milk and bacon and a bottle of cough syrup (for the Son who has had some sort of flu type symptoms for the last 3-4 days.) and strict instructions to turn the heating on,make some bacon sarnies and tea, eat them and then snuggle down for the night.

We've invited them for dinner tomorrow night, and they can tell us all about it then. Not sure what we'll feed them but I bet after all that rice they'll want something with spuds or pasta!

Wanan as they say in Hong Kong , Beijjing, Kowloon etc.
