Drumming At Prize Giving

I have bnen reading an e-article about taking a photo in a way that shows a theme or describes what it is that you are trying to show about the scene you are viewing. This is an attepmpt at that, to try and show that these boys were playing at an important event, that they were trying extremely hard, one of them was the more experienced, and that they were drumming very very fast. I have used a lsow shutter speed and a soft focus to try and bring intensity into the movement of the drum sticks and also to show that the two outside boys are following the middle one. The lighting was very bright and colours very glaring, so I have taken this back to black and white to try and only emphasise what is going on, and not have too much distraction.
