Vakker

The clouds rolled over Edinburgh once again, dumping more snow and hail, but when they cleared it was breathtakingly sparkly and beautiful.

Given that the car is now 3 feet under an icy blanket, hiking is the only option. Today's crumpy walk gave me the impression I had been teleported to Norway. Never been there, but if it's like this I'm impressed.

All this walking has given me new energy levels. And of course, the scone and millionaire's shortbread at the end of one trudge was most welcome.
