Best of a bad situation

Katie is an incredible tonic if at any point stresses threaten to wear me down at all. We still have no water, and its not really a joke with a littlie. But she has just made it so much more bearable and bordering on an adventure. She was pleasantly bemused by her salon-style hair wash, backwards over the sink, and her sponge bath went down pretty well. She enjoyed the visits that we made to spread our loads of washing round the village, each time being offered a welcome cup of tea and a play with a friend for Katie.

For Katie, the highlight of the whole thing is that she has a growing mountain of empty plastic bottles. Ideal for bashing, throwing, waving, clonking. She loves it!

As for Mummy, well, I'm looking forward to having a proper bath tomorrow at a friend's house, and am hoping Tesco gets a delivery of large bottled water/multipacks of 2lr bottles soon, otherwise we will be flushing the loo with Evian... a tad luxurious I feel!

EDIT: Water returned later this evening!! Hurrah! Big hot bath for Mummy!
