Splasher

Feels very different to my usual blip style today, if you can have a style after a mere few weeks of participation. There's a few that nearly made it here too. Most of these feel unusual and slightly alien to me as well.

Tiring day that I rounded off with a big swim, staying right until the end when the pool closed, no wonder that face is looking worn. The lovely Jim O'Rourke accompanied me there and back with his Eureka album on the ipod, favourite track can be listened to right here

Main listen of the day though was when I was working at the computer this afternoon in another classical kind of mood with a couple of run throughs of my favourite Johann Johannsson album Fordlandia. Just exceptional material all the way through, hard to pick a favourite but if pushed I'd go for one with a marvellous title, namely Melodia (Guidelines For A Space Propulsion Device). And since buying the CD, I've discovered the fascinating story of Fordlandia. Idealism, naivete, madness and folly.
