One ear

Self portrait converted to high contrast B&W. In Photoshop chalked in the lines with a soft black brush. Then brushed in the colours with a speckled brush in lots of layers.

Used more layers and created filters with textures and embossing to try to give the effect of thick paint.

Never done this before and I thought it was more fun than X factor, not everyone will agree - especially my wife.

Her comment...."who's that?"

Oh well - no one else will know how bad it is. Perhaps I should have smiled!
