Market Breakfast
I have waxed eloquently (well as least often) about the Zihuatanejo market. This morning I convinced my wife to accompany me as we went in search of coffee to start the day. We found, instead, Fonda Irma where we enjoyed an outrageous breakfast of chile rellano (for my wife) and carne de puerco (for me). Rice and beans accompanied, filling us up way more than a simpler cup of coffee. The owner, Irma I assume, to the right of my wife even allowed me to taste some of her breakfast - some kind of pig (she spoke almost no English, but made us feel right at home). Having my wife along provided the confidence to finally sit at one of those counters I walk past every morning.
