Chilly Dog!

The snow is back! No need for artificial spray snow on the windows - nature is doing it herself! Blizzards all day, my poor Postie's van ended up in two drifts in complete white out conditions. For the last couple of days it's been after 8pm when he's finished his round because of the backlog of post from the last snowy weather! More of the same is just what he needs!

Ollie and I were out gathering ivy and other greenery, to decorate the sitting room, this morning when we got caught out in a blizzard. Even Ollie in his woolly furry coat didn't enjoy it much! We came in and made some prune and walnut bread and put the marzipan on the Christmas cake, well, I did, Ollie isn't much use at such things. Something to do with a lack of opposable thumbs apparently . . . . That's his excuse anyway!
