Saturday lunchtime sky

I think I've mentioned a few times that I'm an inveterate sky-watcher, & this one deserved a bit of attention in my opinion!

I've had a lovely day today, very slow but productive. I was up early making foodie Christmas gifts, which made the house smell a bit too boozy for 8.30am! That done I had a chat with my lovely friend S, who is a dab hand at making me laugh at myself, and cheers me up no matter what.

This afternoon I made soup in preparation for tomorrow's operation "put the boat to bed" - I think that's going to be chilly experience. Then I wrapped Christmas presents and watched this wonderful sky. Still only half way through the day, and plenty to look forward to this evening :)
