GIMMEE AN I
Well, it wasn't what I had in mind for today; it being a Saturday I had planned to go up the Dales and take a shot of the magnificent scenery. But everything was against me, as instead I had to go to work; though the great dump of white stuff overnight made even that difficult. According to the milkman at 6am, there was nothing on the road, including gritters. I rang the bus company - no one answered. I rang the rail company and yes there would be a train stopping at our wee station on the hill. I waited half an hour past the pick up time before I saw a train approaching, but it just whizzed on past, showering me and a man with his toddler with more snow. The man then decided he would have to brave the elements and dig his car out, and very kindly offered me a lift part way to work. I eventually trudged in 2 hours late, but with the office empty I managed to get through my work in much less time than normal.
And caught a bus home before the sun set. Which meant I could at least blip outside in the snow. So this I is for me, myself, and I, and the blips I have taken to date. Though there was that one that G took of the hot air balloon so I suppose it's really only 299!
Thank you all of you who look or comment. It is much appreciated and I am just sorry that I am so hit and miss at reciprocating. Hopefully I will find an oasis of calm between New Year and Year End and will get back up to speed. This place is a wonderful community and I love it!
