Stag

Today's the day ..................... to be frozen

There's just a dusting of snow around here but boy is it cold! I don't know what the actual temperature is but I'm guessing it's lots of minuses below freezing.

This is Will holding the stag at bay with a completely frozen Loch Achray behind him. In all the years we have been coming here at this time of year, I have never known the loch to be completely frozen. A bit crusty round the edges sometimes but never completely frozen. I wonder where all the ducks and other wildfowl will be?

There's a kind of eerie stillness to everything too - no colour, no people, no noise. Really very strange .....................
