Horsing Around

Found these lovely horses just across the road which is the border line into the next community -- a city that prides itself on being "rural." So horses are the choice for pulling Santa's sleigh.

I told Mr. Fun that I was headed out with my camera to capture some of the season and asked if he wanted to go for a quick cruise to see what we could find. Of course his answer was "yes!" He wasn't going to get left home alone!

It's been an exciting day. We completed the creation of the annual Christmas card. I used a photo from last December's blip to grace the cover of the card. See the photo here. Once we completed the creation, we took it to the local print shop and had it back in less than two hours. So it's now time to stuff, seal, and stamp the envelopes. They'll be in the postal system in no time, winging their way to friends and family. Woohoo!

It's rained here all day -- okay it's sprinkled -- but so lovely because we get it so seldom. Now it's time to prepare dinner. Then a hot pot of tea, and then an evening with envelopes.
