Loch Achray

Today's the day ................ to walk round the loch

Did one of our most favourite walks today - a circuit of Loch Achray. It was very cold and the path icy - but the sky was blue and with my new adjustable crampons, there was no stopping me!

The only hitch to the plan was our intention to stop for mulled wine and mince pies in the Byre Inn, half way round. We should have remembered that Monday is the only day they are closed ..........
