Holidays are Here!

Well this morning I got up early as usual and headed out to work. It wasn't too bad at home when I left, bitterly cold and a little icy but as I got off the motorway at the other end the roads were a bit horrid and on camp nasty! Most people have started their leave for the Christmas grant but I had planned to work till Wed.

Well I had a chat with the Met man and realised it was only going to get worse and start snowing again, so I got in my office and beavered away and got everything finished by 1pm. I then went online and submitted a leave pass for tomorrow and Wed. Stuck my Out of Office Assistant on, and got in my car and drove home, before it got horrid.

Starting my hols early you see! Got back home and grabbed a coffee with a friend before doing a shop at M&S and then it was feet up and time for a holiday G&T.

Blipped here, my favourite G&T, with cucumber (a must) and in my sqn glass from many years ago. I think you can just about make out the aircraft engraved on the glass...and if you look really hard you can see the dates I served on the sqn back to front on the other side of the glass!

Now, what to do tomorrow?
