we're not in kansas anymore

i am officially not a coward any longer... well, at least not for today anyway. i actually mustered up the nerve to ask this couple if i could take their picture while at the garden today... whew... it just seemed the right thing to do. and they were cute about it. seems they're visiting - from kansas no less. they left the very cold mid-west to enjoy our spring-like temps...yay!

in the meantime, the east coast got hammered with blizzard conditions yesterday closing airports - dumping snow at the rate of 2-3 inches per hour... unreal.

thanks for well wishes regarding my fall yesterday. i'm sore with a twisty ankle but not sprained i don't think... just cranky... sigh...
