Christmas Day
Merry Christmas!
Kerr had lots of fun today and was a very lucky boy. Santa brought him lots of lovely gifts, and so did family and friends.
In Kerr's stocking Santa left:
mini monkey
3rd and bird soft toys
a couple of Thomas engines
'That's not my car' book
Matey bubblebath
We then went downstairs to find that Santa had left some more presents in the living room :=)
These were:
Thomas train set
Thomas desk and stool
Toy Story 3 phone with answer machine
Tool set and mini workbench
Noddy Annual
Dumper truck
We had a fun filled but busy Christmas Day. Gran and Grandpa came to visit around lunchtime and exchange gifts. They gave Kerr a remote controlled Thomas the Tank Engine, and a Car Transporter. They stayed for an hour or so and mum and I had a couple of glasses of champagne. Then they left to go to my sister's house for dinner.
The cooking commenced early afternoon and kerrsdaddy and I managed to cook a full Christmas dinner for our guests - Kerr's Auntie Julia, Uncle Chris and 3 cousins and also Uncle Mikey, Auntie Lisa and baby cousin 'Lils. It was pretty tiring - the only disaster was when I spilled the gravy all over the inside of mum's hostess trolley which we had borrowed - oops too much champagne!
Auntie Lisa, Uncle Mikey and Lilias stayed overnight with us. Kerrsdaddy and Mikey stayed up chatting and consuming red wine until after 5am.
