Look what I just found inside a Christmas cracker!
Feeling a little bit hungover today.
Last night, as usually happens with me in New Year's eve, it was totally unpredictable, but I had a good time. The initial plan was to go to these friends of mine for some food, a few drinks and a good chat. Never happened!
A friend of mine had just arrived from her holidays in Spain, and she called me from the airport to ask me what I was doing that evening, because she was too late for a dinner party she was supposed to go to. So I told her to come to my flat for dinner and then we would go out.
Good chat, nice improvised food and Christmas crackers! These crackers had been left over from my Christmas party, by the way. And what was my surprise when inside one of my crackers I found this tiny tripod!!!! Great! I got cufflings too, but not much I can do with them, really. Anybody wants a pair of cheap cufflings?
Me and my friend actually celebrated New Year Spanish style. We listened to the bells from a Spanish TV Channel in my computer (so it was 11.00pm here, but who cares!) and we ate a grape for each one of the bells, which is the tradition in Spain (not such an easy task as it seems if you don't want to end up with a mouth full of grapes!). So we celebrated New Year an hour earlier, and then again at 12.00! With white wine because I didn't happen to have any cava in my flat!
Then we went out and had a great time!
Planning to nurse my wee hungover and not do much more today.
All the best for 2011 to everyone in Blipworld!
