Happy New Year!

This was taken at Farmoor Reservoir this afternoon. The conditions were very dull.

It ended up a very wet walk, as the drizzle set in, but it was good to be out.

And then it was good to be back!

We were most excited, having thought we'd captured a sanderling, but our new birdbook (thank you!) put paid to that notion.
Ignorance was quite bliss for a short while!

It IS good to be back!
