Valle Des Frances - Day 8

We spent today exploring the Valles des Frances - a side trip from the Grande Circuit route. Absolutely amazing out of this world views of the mountains and we got to see some of the mini avalanches we had heard booming throughout the night at the campsite further down the valley. The sun was shining, the snow was glistening and we could see for miles - just perfect.

Then it was back down the valley and on to the next campsite where we had an incredibly windy night - really did think we were going to lose the tent. It was like a giant had grabbed hold of the tent and was trying to shake the people out from inside! We didnt manage to get much sleep but luckily our home for 10 days stayed intact!
