Quiet Blipper

I couldn't resist this one. Reminds me of Van Gogh's cypresses. Wonder if he studied reflections, or were his images the result of what was seen through the crude glass of the early 20th century. All I could see dancing on the water surface were images that reminded me of some of his "wilder" work.

I was on a walk home from my friend K's cabin, another blipper on the Island. There were several images I could have chosen, ones perhaps more easily appreciated or accessible, ones that captured the cold light of the mid winter. But I had such fun with these. They work I think because of the little coloured spots on the "canvas". Little ducks feeding in the early afternoon stillness.
