How does your garden grow? No, wait, that's a different poem. Is there a poem about moose? Probably.

I've been trying to get some concrete information from the broker of the bed and breakfast we're looking at possibly buying, but it's not getting as far along as I hoped. General replies do not confidence make. The B&B is, for sake of argument and more or less in reality, remote. While there are several attractions in the area I could take advantage of photographically to salvage a potentially wasted trip (in terms of the B&B), I would like to know my time and expense would be to further the process of purchasing this property rather than having to try and "salvage" the trip by taking photos at the beach. Perhaps the broker doesn't have the figures (he should tell me that) or the current owners don't have those figures (he should tell me that, too). It's a concern, but one I'm hoping to get answers to from other sources. When and if we decide to dedicate some very serious time to preparing a full-fledged business plan and seek funding, I will find a different broker to handle our end since I don't have confidence this broker has our interests to heart. If this B&B was located in our local area it wouldn't be a big deal. But, this one is at least a 10-hour drive away, and probably longer (especially in winter), and will require at least a week's time out of my schedule to visit.

It would be a disappointment if this didn't happen. We've been talking about it for the past couple weeks and have already made plans for upgrading and expanding the property, programs and other activities. First step, though, is getting good, honest figures to work with so we can objectively evaluate, then visit and see for ourselves.

By the way, the moose is located inside our local Cabela's store.
