Mum....

Today would have been Mum's birthday.
She would have been 86yrs old.
She decided some years earlier to let age get the better of her.
She said she'd had enough.
Although we were mostly close to hand and were with her as much as we could be, l believe she was very lonely.
I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Where ever you are Mum.......

Cliff, Sandra and I took flowers to her and then walked up the hills that overlook this beautiful village, the village that Mum fell in love with so many years ago.
I have a lot to be grateful for.
