Floating Sky
Last night I wrote on my blip "I think I need to watch the sky more often." Then earlier today I was browsing through the pages of others' blips and Gail mentioned seeing a "whale" in the sky. On yesterday's blip I had mentioned "whales" in our pool and when Gail left me a comment--she noted that we had both mentioned "whales."
So I took a page from Gail's blip when I went outside late this afternoon, I too saw "whales" in the sky. But the sky was in the pool. Pretty soon it was just all too funny, but if you weren't there and if you had not seen Gail's page, it probably won't be funny for you.
Anyway, I stood there poolside trying to decide whether to point at the sky or at the pool or at Chloe who was trotting around the pool, only slowing when she'd come near one of those whales and she wasn't sure what it would do next. So I took a shot of both the sky and the whales.
Tomorrow we'll be at the ocean to start our vacation days. I can hardly wait. Now I have to decide what to take and what to leave home. So tomorrow I'll be blipping with sand on my feet. Till then, I hope everyone is well. Thanks for the comments on yesterday's sky.
At 7:00, good night from Southern California.
Rosie (& Mr. Fun, and Chloe), aka Carol
P.S. Horrigans asked if the whales have had babies. Not yet, but anything is possible!
P.P.S. There are two whales in the pool, really! One is hiding from the camera, but she's really there just off the right of the photo.
