Rythmatize

Let's get this clear right now. I absolutely cannot stand my brother.

I get up about 45 minutes to an hour earlier than my brother every morning. School starts at 7:37 and we usually walk into the building at around 7:36. Lately, I've been bringing my cello into school so I can practice during my lunch period. I need to get to school earlier so I can drop my cello off at either the band or orchestra room. He usually gets into the shower at around 7:05. On Monday, my mom said that we were leaving at 7:15 no matter what. So, of course, he walks into the car at 7:20 (we were stupid for waiting) and we leave. He thinks that if he doesn't get the ride from my mom in the morning than he doesn't have to go to school. Even worse, he thinks that we're being unreasonable, not him. I'm sick and tired of running in just as the bell rings, cello in tow, without being able to go to my locker. I need some time. Today, we left without him. He opened the door telling us to wait as we were pulling out, but we had already waited 5 minutes so we left. He texted me saying, "I guess I'm not going to school today." I loathe him. I texted him telling him to start walking. Right before homeroom officially starts, I get a text from him saying, "Guess who just got to school 2 minutes ago." I have no idea how he did it, but he got to school on time. I hate him so much, because even when he's so wrong it's not even funny, he still makes it out without a scratch. He spends every night on the basement computer (the one I'm on now) for hours, doing nothing but listen to music and sit on Facebook. I need this computer to blip and I prefer to blip on the day I took the picture. Tonight, he was working on his Soul Journal for health. (Keep in mind, it's due tomorrow, yet he's had it since the first week of school.) So I tell him that we need to switch computers (I was on the one upstairs). He was just sitting on Facebook and coloring, so I figured he could do that upstairs and I could blip downstairs. Of course, he has to put up a fight. I tell my mom (It's the only way to get what I want) and she comes down and yells at him. There's no reason why he can't move upstairs and let me blip, especially considering the fact that I was at All-County from 4:00-8:00 and then Beauty and The Beast practice from 8:20-9:00. He was home all day before pit orchestra rehearsal. So after a lot of senseless (on his part) yelling, I am now on the basement computer blipping and he is pouting and shouting upstairs. :)

So....sorry about that rant...

All-County was better today. Guess what chair I am?!?!?!?! 19/20! I'm not the worst! My stand partner must have either been absent Tuesday or just plain bad to be sitting behind me after how poorly I did at my audition. We sang more, rythmatized more, and watched more clips of Leonard Bernstein. I had fun tonight. :)

I went straight from All-County rehearsal to the last 30 minutes of Beauty and The Beast rehearsal. I really like hearing everyone's parts and imagining what must be going on on-stage. I'm looking forward to performing soon!

I'm going to try something new...maybe you'll all become a little smarter because of me (and Dictionary.com):

Word of the Day: Creolize - To combine local and foreign elements into a new, distinct whole.
