swings

Just as I uploaded this picture I remembered the one I intented for today was on my phone!! I may change it tomorrow when I can be bothered plugging in the phone and searching for the picture...

After a dull, lazy, unremarkable Saturday morning we headed out to pick up a few things we needed and post some parcels (the joy of living so far away from family and friends). 3 Scottish Parcels and 1 Welsh one! Whilst we were out we decided to walk a little further and take Amelie to the park to have a shot on the swings. It was a horrible dull day and getting dark but I decided we could all do with some fresh air and fun. First Amelie went on the swings...although she loved it before she was a little aprehensive this time and didn't like going down but got excited when she went up! Then we took her on the see saw, the roundabout (eugh, dizzy) and some bouncy things before ending up on the adult swings holding onto her. I think we all had a good time!!

Because she had played through her nap she was asleep by 6.30 with absolutely no hassle.
