Just an Ordinary Picture of an Extraordinary Cat

Blip, meet Hera. Hera, meet Blip.

Honestly, Hera doesn't care.

Hera is a silly and quirky cat. She's the kind of cat that chirps her meows, at the other side of the house, begging for attention. When you call for her, she runs to where you are, just out of reach. I think she does this to see if you reeeally want to give her attention-- enough to move yourself from your comfy place. And then-- just as you reach toward her to pet her-- she runs away. She didn't want your attention at all. She just wanted you to want to give her attention.

Hera also exhibits signs of OCD. She has a ritual when it comes to using the litterbox. She cannot simply cover her droppings and be on her way. No. She covers, wipes her paws along the edge of the litterbox, then along the edge of the bathtub (as the litterbox is in the corner of the bathroom and is against the bathtub), then along the adjoining wall, then covers her droppings, and repeats this process once or twice before going on her way.

And she also likes playing Hide & Seek.

In short, Hera is an awesome cat. She is pleased that you are pleased to meet her.
