Sitting in the Leaves

I did think about an Australian theme for Australia Day today (G'day all), I also thought of a fire torch burning in the back garden with a viking ship waiting to be torched for the Up Helly Aa Festival of Fire in the Shetlands but that was just far too complicated and time consuming. Wednesday the family arrives for tea and then tonight my husband and I decided last week to join the local Photographic Society and went to our first meeting tonight. So it was a mad rush to get tea and them all home for 7.30.

They were all very friendly and tonight was judging the members' photos for some cup. Some of them were really good, others not so good. There was also a slide show of the portfolio of the Scottish Photographic Federation. A section was for mono and section for colour. Perth came 4th in the colour and 7th in the mono, both out of 37 clubs. The winning club had travelled to Eastern Europe so their pictures were really outstanding.
