Reflecting

Heating the spa and stepping in seemed like the best way to spend the tail-end of this final Friday afternoon in January. At 4:00 p.m. the air temp was 74 degrees F and the bubbling water was 98 degrees. The whales' water was about 30 degrees colder. Mr. Fun contemplating taking a dip in both, but then came to his senses. We spent 45 minutes soaking in the warm soothing suds while having a difficult time grasping that this is January.

Our weather reporters claim the temps are about to drop and the possibility of rain is increasing. While we have enjoyed this lovely burst of summer-like weather, we'd gladly accept something that resembles winter. So here's hoping.

This coming Monday morning I will report back to the campus to work in the Writing Center for the next two weeks and then the spring semester begins on Monday, February 14. I'd like to tell you that I just can't hardly wait, but that would be a lie! I love my job, but I love my time off even more. I hope that's normal. So I am planning to have a great weekend no matter what I will be doing. Hope your weekend is good too.
