Where are they then?

Feeling much better today, so much so that I got up and took the dogs out for their morning yomp. To be truthful. the only reason I took them out was because the husband had seen 6 deer here early yesterday morning. (6 deer together previously unheard of)

Despite the dogs being on full alert, there was not a deer in sight when I went this morning. Did hear a woodpecker though, very close by.

Tempted to tell the husband that I saw seven, then enjoy a lie in whilst he goes to check it out tomorrow. Sneaky!
