Chiang Dao

Road trip weekend escape to Chiang Dao. We rented a few little bamboo bungaloos owned by a local Thai family under the shadow of Chiang Dao, one of the highest peaks in Thailand.

Misty and immense, draped in cloud and framed by palm trees. Lazy and relaxed as an endless Sunday afternoon, eating so much food. Napping in a hammock and dipping into a hot spring, only to cool down in the icy river below. And floating on your back gazing up at the stars through the branches.
