Space drops / abstract.

Very tired today for some reason. Very grey skies except for a sudden patch of sunshine and clouds around lunchtime. Unfortunately that coincided with a flurry of chasing around.

As soon as I had a spare moment the thick heavy grey sky returned with blowy rain and general miserableness. So no outdoor pics today. Maybe I'm getting soft.

In any event the tulips I bought Mrs W (and not got any brownie points for) haven't opened yet...so no flowers!

I did see in a recent magazine ideas for shooting droplets in a kind of spacey way.

This is Pyrex dish balanced between two chairs. Camera on tripod. Coloured cards (file dividers) on the floor. Desk lamp shining on the cards. Water in the dish, olive oil dropped onto the water....fire away.

Messed about with cropping (had to crop out the name Pyrex right in the middle of the dish) also filters, contrast and sharpening etc.

I think it does have a kind of space / universe look to it.
