Whispy, hairy, thingumijigs

Was poorly sick last night and felt rough this morning so took a day off. 'Had a lovely time pottering about at home this afternoon and took full advantage of the Spring-like weather, grabbing some fresh air, worrying the geese (and a few passers by) as I teetered on the edge of the canal to get this shot. It's amazing to finally see blue sky and to feel the warmth of the sun. Everything seems so colourful. For what feels like ages, the world has been a dismal, grey place, reflecting the colour of the clouds as they race across the sky just above our heads, hurried along by the winds.

Everyone, including the wildlife, seems a lot cheerier today. Hoorah!! :-)
