View from the cockpit

A day of sitting around and eating curry for lunch (very good btw) meant that I had to make sure that I squeezed a turbo training session in this eve before venturing over to Lovely Clare's for the evening...no option to slack tonight! :-)

I recall writing the following quote in my Fitness Singles profile this time last year, "Pain is temporary, pride is forever." Unsurprisingly Clare found this slightly terrifying and since she has got to know me, frankly laughable. Must say though that half way through tonight's hour of suffering, it felt like the pain was never going to end. Anyhoo, sure I will benefit once the season starts and it served to clear the head a little after a slightly challenging day. :-)
