Hospitals

I spent most of my day today in hospital, only for a minor operation which went well.

It's the Royal Glamorgan and it's quite modern. Outside is a river with a pretty little bridge and in the main reception area is this amazing mural.

Many people walk straight past it, without even noticing it's there, in a place like this some people have bigger things on their mind and some are simply so busy they have no time to stop and notice.

I usually have time when I visit to just sit and look at the artwork for a few minutes. I wonder who designed and constructed it. There is a plaque which I'm sure would give me a name and a dedication but I've never read it. I prefer to picture them working on it and the pride there must have been on their face once it was completed.

So whoever it was, congraulations from me on a truely excellent piece of work!
