Shiny new things

The new work laptop arrived today. I had to unwrap it in the office and plug it in to the network so that it could find its bearings, and I couldn't help admiring its shiny-ness. Then I switched it on and discovered how much faster, smoother, etc etc it is than the five-year-old work horse it's replacing. It's also lighter, smaller.....eek, I just noticed it has a webcam. Could make it risky working from home in the PJs.

Anyhow, after a very busy day it was great to meet up with some blippers in the Roseleaf and have a blether. StewartB, Trev, CanCarrier, MAiT and new blipper Sassymills were all there. Not forgetting the intrepid Sands who came all the way in from N Berwick to show us her shiny new boots!
