Day 11: They're changing guard at Buckingham palac

...Christopher Robin went down with Alice.

Ok so it wasn't Buckingham Palace it was Windsor Castle and rather than Christopher Robin and Alice it was The Boy, his mum, a friend and I but it instantly reminded me of the poem.

Our flight back to Edinburgh wasn't until early evening and we'd hit it lucky by being in Windsor on an even numbered day so we decided to head in to town and watch the changing of the Guard. After watching the guard pass we had a nice wander through windsor, down to the long walk, heard some history about the local church, and then headed down in to Eton before a nice wak home along the river.

We made it back up to Edinburgh with enough time for me to get Milo back in the evening. I've missed her but she's eating again and going in to shed.
