Team Goosander

Today's the day ....................... to find the gang

Right horrible day at work - exhausting and a bit like walking through treacle. Didn't think I'd get out at all but eventually managed a quick ten minutes this afternoon. No question where I wanted to go - down to the river to find the goosanders.

And there they were - I'd like to say, just waiting for me to stop by! This time, there weren't any other ducks - it was pure goosander as far as the eye could see. I counted twelve of them, males and females looking quite distinct now compared with how they were a few months ago.

What a treat - made me feel much better ...........!
