Soap Felting

Following my previous blip of the lovely sheep roving that I got in the post, today was THE DAY, and I have to say it worked really well.

Joe remarked that the roving was all a bit pink - yes, but his sister loves pink!

Wrapping the wool over the soap - designed totally by Joe

Wet felting - very soapy, he has superby clean hands now and they smell of Lavender and Jasmine which he is NOT happy about!

The finished article - just needing to dry. He's even made a label to go around the soap!

Now we just have to hope it dries in time to wrap up for Lou's birthday tomorrow - when she hits the big 10 !!!
